In addition to running the Gallery, Joy Schonberg is  an art consultant, art appraiser and an auctioneer. She was the founder of the International Head of Christies’ Antiquities/Judaica and Fine Arts Department. Ms. Schonberg earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees at Hebrew University in Israel, where she studied archaeology and the history of art as well as serving as a Visiting Professor at Yeshiva University.
